17 warmbloods between 2 and 3 years old! We are ready to start soon to become your sport horse prospects and best friends!

It was late August of 2006, when we heard about a forgotten herd of horses that were desperately needing be placed. The farmer had sold them last year to another rescue group, but we are told that they had closed their doors and never paid for them. We were sent photographs of the horses and asked if we could help. Of course we said yes. We sent our money to save them and called in the vets to vaccinate them. We are happy to know that they were already gelded and very healthy nearly weighing in at 800-900 pounds each. These beautiful, friendly youngsters are here in California and ready to for their forever home. Please come and say hello to them!

The herd stallion is a Registered Canadian Stallion, a breed that many of you might not be familiar with. Please read about them here, we are pleased to offer you these horses and hope that one of them might be your dream horse. I have to tell you that they certainly are mine!

This herd is progressing nicely. Still youngsters they are like little computers ready, willing and able to learn. Adopter of both Scooter and now Segram 7, Terry is a teacher of children during the school year, but her real dream is becoming a teacher of horses. Her project under trainer Jennifer's guidance is working with this beautiful herd. Her horse students are all doing well and below next to each horse you will find their latest report cards! Enjoy!

Meet the sire of the herd and learn more about The Candaian Horse Breed here!

Guiness, ADOPTED with brother Nigel.
My brother and I are going to be a two up driving team at Michelle and Jeff's wonderful ranch just over the hill from Canyon Creek! Michelle has adopted 4 Canyon Creek Farm horses! The first was Jasmine, a beautiful Percheron/Thoroughbred filly from our last year's herd. Then she fell head over heels for our Maverick, a stunning black and white APHA paint gelding. When the new yearlings arrived Michelle and trainer Jennifer picked out two matching brothers, Nigel and Guiness. Nigel and Guiness are birthday presents for Michelle. They are all being trained by Jennifer. We are so blessed to have Michelle as a very special friend of Canyon Creek Farm! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are so proud that you have helped save the lives of 4 amazing youngsters! We love you Michelle, Jeff, Jasmine, Maverick, Nigel and Guiness!

Magnum, Adopted!

New Name is Red Hawk and he is ready to start his saddle training very soon, he has been working and boarding here with brother Ducati (Ipod). Getting training for himself and his adopters under Jennifer. Come see the success of this magnificent horse -his progress is typical of this wonderfully gentle herd.
